Portraits ♥ Baby Nathaniel - McAllen, Texas

Babies are the cutest subjects to photograph.

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby Nathanial for a few months now. Two weeks ago, he made his debut here on earth... Congratulations to the Islas family!

I met Yolanda, Nathaniel's mom, back in January and photographed her towards the end of the month for a maternity and family session. Sebastian, Nathaniel's big brother, was so fun, spunky and. a sweetheart. I enjoyed getting to talk with him about lollipops and cartoons. He was excited to have a little brother or little sister; the Islas family did not know what they were having at the time so it made the waiting way more exciting. Can you believe that?!

If I was anxious, imagine being an expecting parent - gasp! It must be a beautiful journey awaiting the birth of your child. Nathaniel was the quietest newborn I have photographed to date. He was completely asleep for the entire session. Photographing him was so easy. At a mere five days old, Nathaniel was effortlessly one of the cutest babies I have met.

Yolanda, I congratulate you on the addition to your family. You are completely blessed. I wish you and your family a blessed life full of love and health. Baby Nathaniel, you are adorable :)

Now for some cute baby pictures...

 On his daddy's hand...

Have a great day!

Mini Session - Baby Gabriel - Mission, Texas

Yee-haw! Texas just got a brand new cowboy! Baby Gabriel arrived in this world a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of photographing him. Photographing him was a complete joy and he was such a trooper. His mommy and grandma were on hand to make sure baby was always comfortable and fed... totally making my job way easier!

When photographing babies, I am amazed at how tiny they are. It's amazing to think that little baby in front of me can grow so quickly. This certainly reminds me how beautiful life is and how blessed mommies are to have babies.

Baby Gabriel, like most babies, needed time to feed, time to cry, and time to become comfortable in the new environments we placed him. But thanks to his wonderful Grandma, the three of us were able to pull off a great baby-mini-session. Gabriel makes one cute photogenic baby!

Sweet Dreams!

Baby Arianny ♥ Brownsville, Texas

When I photograph weddings, I enjoy capturing the love two people share. One of the best parts of my job is seeing my clients enjoy the landmark moments in their lives in front my camera. Saying I do and bringing home a brand new baby make my role as a photographer extra special. I help fabulous people enjoy their blessings and the opportunity to look back years after years as their lives change through photographs. The imagery I am able to capture is merely possible because of the inherent beauty that lies within each one of my clients.

Photographing pets makes me adopt more dogs. Photographing weddings makes me want to get married sooner. Yup, you guessed it... photographing babies makes me want lots of them! They are so sweet and tender without even trying. Their tiny bodies are a miracle created by God. Babies are truly a blessing and I look forward to the day until I ceaselessly photograph my very own children. Until then, I'll focus on photographing all of my newborn clients, in all of their cuteness glory.

Baby Arianny was just born a few days ago and already she has taken the world by storm with her beautiful eyes and heavenly smile. Her loving parents have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl and I have been blessed with an another tiny little client. Carolina is only the third baby I have photographed, ever. My newborn sessions are a little different than the style which is currently prevalent among many baby photographers. I see people, babies included, a little different. I certainly think they look adorable while they are quietly sleeping and posed in such intricate ways. But babies sometimes cry or don't want to sleep. They stretch and blink and often don't stop crying. And all of that is natural, and I like to capture them that way.

I love babies, this one included. Please meet the beautiful Arianny... welcome to the world!

I hope you had an amazing Tuesday!

The blessings we call children... Baby Ryan

I consider myself to have a strong nurturing personality. I want to help everyone and care for them. At only 5'2" I seem to think I can protect others from the unfortunate evil things that co-exist in our world. Weird, I know... But it is just in my nature to be caring and want the best for everyone around me. I think this is why I am practically a second mother to my younger siblings... I've helped to care for them since they were born so they are ultra-special for me.

As I sit and wonder about all the future blessings God has in store for me I often imagine what it would be like to have my own children. I think I'd be a great mother... my five chipoodles are basically my children and I care for them dearly. I can't imagine loving a chihuahua so much more than I do mine... until I think about what the love for a child must be like.

When I began this photography career I never thought I would be photographing babies. I love children, dearly. But the thought of holding a newborn scared me. I liked to carry them when they were big and easier to hold, made me feel safer for them. As I have aged, however, and many of my friends began to marry and have children, I have been exposed to so many newborns over the past year. So much that I love itty-bitty babies so much more now and I can't wait to carry my own.

At the moment, though, I am quite content with photographing many more of them so I can help capture irreplacable moments for happy and blessed parents - like Leiah and L.T. I've known L.T. for a few years now and had the opportunity to attend his wedding when he married his beautiful wife Leiah. The two of them, I think, balance one another. L.T. enjoys to talk and be funny. Leiah seems a bit more quiet. The two of them together have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy and I am more than sure he will inherit both of his parent's personalities.

Baby Ryan was born in August and because time did not permit, I was unable to photograph him until he was three weeks old. Regardless, he was itty-bitty and such a good baby, probably because his mommy did all the work and I just photographed him :)

Leiah and L.T., thank you for allowing me to photograph your sweet baby boy. Baby Ryan, I wish you every blessing in this world :)

Happy Saturday my dear friends!

Busy Bee and Some Cute Baby Pics...

Hey you! It's the third day in March but I feel like the month is in full swing... I'd give, possibly, a toe, for a mini-vacay right about now BUT since I love my toes I'll suck it up and smile :) I'm busy with work, scheduling photography sessions, family, friends, attempting a social life, being an older sister, a good daughter, making God happy and being the best bridesmaid I can be for my good friend Lilly. Her wedding, remember this blog post, is in about five weeks so bridesmaid duties are in full swing. I love it! So, as you have read, I have been a little busy... just a little ;)

If you remember, back in January I did my first baby session and a few days ago I said I finally had the time to blog the photos. I lied. I didn't post them yesterday but guess what, I'll post today ;) I know, you're so excited, right? I photographed baby Denaly Sarai back in January a week after she was born. She is a cutie... see for yourself.

Denaly's mommy, Blanca, has become a really good friend of mine so I am sure this is not the last you've seen of Baby Denaly on here ;)

I'll keep this short for today since I'm sure you're busy this Wednesday evening.

Thanks for reading, really.
