Holiday Mini Sessions ♥ 2010

October is half-way through and November will be quickly approaching. Last year I had thought about venturing into Mini-Sessions but never actually did so this year I have decided to give them a try. So for the rest of October and for the month of November I will be holding Mini-Sessions for my current and prospective clients. The mini-sessions are 30 minute sessions of non-stop coverage on-location and include 25 custom designed holiday cards with envelopes. If you'd like to opt out of the holiday cards, you can instead use a $25 print credit towards prints or products. I'm really excited for these mini's and my days are scheduling in quickly so if you are interested please feel free to give me a call to schedule your session. I look forward to seeing my past clients and meeting many new ones.

Have a great weekend!

I think I'm talented?

As you slowly get to know me post by post, you'll begin to realize I am an immensely intricate woman. Along the way, however, you may notice that I also have many talents. Obviously I am a photographer but I am so much more than that. I am a child of God, a daughter, a sister, a co-worker, a student, a writer, a reader, a dreamer and oh-so-many more things in life. I am me and I am talented, I think. I write this because I want to share with you something I worked on a few days ago. It is not photography related but working on it is just as fun as photos for me. What is it you ask... invitations of course. I created these on Sunday as a last minute request for a special event taking place next weekend. I'll let you know more info on that soon...

Take a look at my little creations, aren't they whimsically-cute?

Each one (all thirty of them) were hand made with love and lots of attention to detail... and patience. Do you like?

Happy Wednesday :)

+sites... Showit Rocks ;)

I like creating websites, not as much as like photography but pretty close... But I like to have lots of control on what I'm creating and how I can create it. I may not always know the proper ways to do a certain something but I use my brain to its fullest in attempting to accomplish what I set out to. It's like brain therapy, really. Well after blog-stalking the fabulous Miss Jasmine Star for a while last year I read she highly recommended using Showit for your photography website. I was weary at first but after scoping out the Showit website for a few months I finally busted out my debit card, that's right debit, and made the splurge. Boy was I happy :) I am no Jasmine Star but I do too highly recommend Showit for your website needs... you really can show it fast! A few months ago I created my website and look forward to really experimenting with creativity and producing a final outcome. Try it out!.. You'll love it - it's ahh-mah-zing!

Speaking of how awesome Showit is... a while back they developed the idea and made it possible to make mini-sites for your clients. How cool is that? Too cool if you ask me ;) So, without further ado... to all my prospective clients... listen up peeps... Your photography package {Portrait, Wedding, Pets, anything for that matter...} now include your own personal mini-site displaying the favorite images from your shoot. Neat, huh? I sure hope you think so... Below is a +site for The Zamoras displaying some of their favorite photos from their family Christmas portraits last year. You can read about it here :) Check out the latest page I just posted using Showit:

Product Information: Canvas Prints

Marisol Izaguirre Photography (AKA: me!) is excited to offer canvas prints of your portraits! Canvas prints look exquisitely elegant and make your portraits look like they belong in a gallery :) They give the finished photograph a regal appearance. They make a perfect gift for your family and friends as well. Canvas prints can be ordered on all portrait sessions. I offer canvas prints in various sizes, smallest to largest.

Here is a preview of what they look like... the Zamora family ordered my very first canvas print and it came in today... took less than a week to arrive. I think it looks beautiful and it takes the photograph to the next level.

They ordered their photo in black and white but you can have them in color or black and white. Decision, like prints, are up to you the client :)

The photo is printed on canvas and wraps around an inner wooden frame. There is no need for a frame, but if you wish to frame yours that can also be arranged. This specific canvas gallery wrap is a 20x30 and is quite large. It'll look amazing on the Zamora's wall, I'm sure of it ;)

I'd like to once again thank the Zamoras for trusting me with their family portraits. If you are interested in having a portrait session and ordering a canvas print, please contact Marisol Izaguirre Photography.

Have a great Wednesday :)
