I have been dreaming of the day I would get to travel with this job. Over the past two years, my photography has taken me to various local places and around the state of Texas. A few weeks ago I finally accomplished one of my goals and traveled to the midwest to photograph my first out of state wedding.
Not only was this my first time photographing a wedding out of Texas but it was also my first time being so far north! It was absolutely beautiful. The best part was the beautiful town where Alessandra and Tyler were married. Faribault, Minnesota is quite picturesque and simply so full of charm.
Alessandra and I went to college together and the last time I had seen her was over four years ago. It was great to see her in her natural surroundings with her beloved family. It was also the first time I met her groom, Tyler.
The two of them have been dating for a few years and their family and friends were so happy to see them begin the next step in their lives as husband and wife. The best part about this wedding was seeing two cultures come together so beautifully. I was honored to be treated so kindly and with warmth from both sides. The Almanza and Putrah families, along with Tyler and Alessandra, made my experience amazing.
Congratulations to the newest newlyweds... The Putrah's! Ale and Tyler, best wishes for a long, healthy, and loving marriage. Thank you for allowing me to spend such a joyous day with you as your wedding photographer.
Ale, thank you for bringing me to Minnesota! I hope to go back many times to do what I most love... my job!
