Laura is one of the very first persons I photographed when I started the journey I now call my career. She, like a few of my sorority sisters, said one day they would hire me when they'd become engaged. Alas, the moment came when Laura was asked a very special question to which she said yes.
Until their engagement session, I had only seen Paul in photos with Laura. I finally had the pleasure to meet him in person a few weeks ago for their portraits. Upon meeting him, it was so special to see them in their natural element, love! They were so willing to do anything I asked and that made for some fun funny photos of Paul, ha! They will be getting married this summer at The Reserve at Dancing Elk ranch in Mathis, Texas. I have recently heard about this location and in the weeks leading up to Laura and Paul's session, it had been very popular among my social media newsfeed. After seeing the premises in person, I have to agree and state that it is a beautiful location. It's a large property with lots of unique animals not normally seen at ranches. It was definitely a joy to see the camel!
